Quick answer

VivaLoanApp is an independent online loan-request service, not a lender. You submit one free request for $100 to $5,000, and we share it with lenders and lending partners who may make an offer. Lenders or partners may pay us for referrals; you pay $0. We are not affiliated with VIVA Finance, Viva Payday Loans, or Vivaloan.

Who we are

VivaLoanApp (vivaloanapp.com) is an independent online loan-request service. We built it for people who need a small or mid-size loan, typically $100 to $5,000, and don’t want to fill out the same form on a dozen lender websites.

Here’s the model in one sentence: you submit one secure request, we share it with third-party lenders and lending partners in our network, and any lender that can help shows you its own terms. You decide whether to accept. The loan, if you take one, is between you and that lender.

We also publish guides that explain loan costs, eligibility, and borrower rights in plain language, because a good decision starts with understanding what you’re signing. Start with how it works if you’re new here.

What we are not

Clarity matters, so here is what VivaLoanApp is not:

  • Not a lender. We don’t lend money, make credit decisions, or set rates, fees, amounts, or repayment terms.
  • Not a loan servicer or debt collector. We never collect payments and can’t see or change anyone’s loan.
  • Not a credit repair company or financial advisor. Our guides are general information, not personal advice.
  • Not affiliated with other “Viva” companies. See the next section.

Not affiliated with VIVA Finance, Viva Payday Loans, or Vivaloan

Several unrelated businesses use “Viva” in their names, and people searching for “viva loans” often mean one of them. VivaLoanApp is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting on behalf of any of these companies:

  • VIVA Finance, Inc., an Atlanta-based direct lender offering employer-linked installment loans
  • Viva Payday Loans (vivapaydayloans.com), a loan-matching site
  • Vivaloan (vivaloan.com), an online personal loan marketplace

We mention them only by name, for information and comparison, and we don’t use their logos. If you want one of them specifically, go to its official website. Our Viva loans guide explains how they differ.

How we make money

You deserve to know who pays us, so here it is plainly.

Borrowers pay $0. Submitting a request is free, and you owe us nothing whether or not you take a loan.

Lenders and partners may pay us for referrals. When a lender or lending partner in our network receives your request, or when a loan is made, it may pay VivaLoanApp a fee. That is how we cover the cost of running the site and writing our guides.

This arrangement is common among online loan-request and comparison services. We think you should hear it from us directly rather than discover it in fine print.

What that means for you:

  • The referral fee is paid by the lender or partner, never added as a separate charge to you by us.
  • We don’t control which lender makes you an offer or what it charges. Lenders apply their own pricing.
  • Compensation may influence which lenders and partners participate in our network. It does not change the facts in our guides.
  • You are never required to accept an offer.
Always compare any offer you receive with other options, including a credit union, your bank, or a payment plan with the company you owe.

Our editorial standards

The guides on this site are written and reviewed by the VivaLoanApp Editorial Team. We follow a few firm rules:

  1. Accuracy first. We describe loan costs using the figures lenders disclose and the rules set by federal law, including the Truth in Lending Act and the Military Lending Act. When we describe other companies, we rely on their public information and say when it is as of a certain date.
  2. No fake social proof. We don’t publish testimonials, star ratings, made-up customer quotes, or invented statistics.
  3. No hype. We never promise approval, and we don’t claim a loan is free of credit checks. We say what lenders actually do: many start with a soft inquiry, and approval depends on the lender.
  4. Fair comparisons. When we discuss other companies, we stay neutral and stick to verifiable facts.
  5. Alternatives included. Where it helps, we point to lower-cost options such as credit union payday alternative loans and nonprofit credit counseling.
  6. Regular updates. We review pages when rules or public information change and show the updated date.

Read more in our editorial policy. If you spot an error, email [email protected] and we’ll review it.

What we don’t do

Some practices are common in online lending marketing. We avoid them:

  • We don’t charge you any fee to submit a request.
  • We don’t ask for upfront payments, gift cards, or wire transfers.
  • We don’t ask for your online banking password.
  • We don’t promise approval, specific rates, or specific funding times.
  • We don’t pretend to be another company or use its branding.
  • We don’t publish fake reviews or invented success stories.

If anyone contacts you claiming to be VivaLoanApp and asks for money upfront, it isn’t us. Report it to the FTC at reportfraud.ftc.gov.

When a loan request may not be right for you

We would rather you borrow less, or not at all, than take on a payment you can’t keep up with. A loan request may not be the best first step if:

  • The expense can wait until your next paycheck without a late fee or shutoff.
  • The company you owe offers a payment plan or hardship program.
  • You belong to a federal credit union that offers payday alternative loans (PALs), which have capped costs.
  • Your employer offers a pay advance or emergency assistance.
  • You already have several loans and are borrowing to pay them, which is a sign to talk with a nonprofit credit counselor first.

If you do borrow, request the smallest amount that solves the problem and read the lender’s full disclosure. Our rates and terms guide shows how to compare offers by total cost.

The rules that apply to lenders and to us

Consumer lending in the U.S. is regulated at both the federal and state level. Lenders in our network are responsible for following the laws that apply to their loans, including the Truth in Lending Act, the Equal Credit Opportunity Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Military Lending Act, and the licensing and rate rules of each state where they lend.

As a service that collects and shares your information, we follow rules on marketing and data too. That includes the TCPA for calls and texts, the E-SIGN Act for electronic consent, and state privacy laws such as the CCPA/CPRA. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB), the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and state regulators all accept consumer complaints.

Our commitment to borrowers

Borrowing money is a serious decision. We want every visitor to leave knowing three things: what a loan will cost in dollars, who they’re actually dealing with, and what their rights are under laws such as TILA, the E-SIGN Act, the TCPA, and state privacy laws like the CCPA/CPRA.

If you have a question, a correction, or a complaint, email [email protected] or see our contact page. When you’re ready, you can start a free request.
