Quick answer

VivaLoanApp content is written by the VivaLoanApp Editorial Team using public sources such as the CFPB, FTC, state regulators and company disclosures. Why we publish content

Last updated: November 2, 2026.

VivaLoanApp is an independent loan-request service, not a lender. Our guides help you understand loan costs, requirements and alternatives before you decide whether to submit a request. We also explain how VIVA Finance, Viva Payday Loans and Vivaloan differ, because many people searching for “viva loans” mean one of those companies. We are not affiliated with any of them.

Every page is published under the byline “VivaLoanApp Editorial Team.” We do not invent author names or credentials.

Sources we use

We rely on primary and public sources that readers can check themselves:

  • Federal regulators: the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) and the Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
  • Laws and rules: the Truth in Lending Act, the Military Lending Act, the E-SIGN Act, the TCPA, GLBA and CCPA/CPRA
  • State regulators: state banking and financial services departments, which set licensing rules and rate caps
  • Company public disclosures: lender and marketplace websites, rate pages, terms and press releases
  • Reputable third-party coverage: established financial publications and review sites, cited as third-party views

When we describe another company, we attribute the information to its source and note that details can change. We do not publish customer testimonials, star ratings or statistics we cannot source.

How content is drafted and reviewed

We want to be clear about our process. Content on VivaLoanApp may be drafted with the help of software tools, including AI writing tools. No draft is published as is. Each page is reviewed by the VivaLoanApp Editorial Team before it goes live.

Our review checks that:

  1. Facts, figures and legal references match the cited sources.
  2. Rate ranges and the representative example match our Disclosures page.
  3. The page makes no approval or funding promises and describes credit checks accurately.
  4. Other companies are described neutrally and accurately, with no implied affiliation.
  5. The page is written in plain language and points to free alternatives where relevant.

If a claim cannot be verified, we remove it or label it as reported by a named third party.

What software tools do and do not do

Software tools can help with outlines, first drafts, grammar and consistency. They do not decide what we publish. A tool can produce text that sounds right but is wrong, so a person on our team checks numbers, company details and legal statements against the original source. Tools are never used to create fake reviews, quotes or ratings.

We also do not use tools to guess at facts we cannot confirm, such as a company’s approval rate or the number of people it serves. If no reliable public source exists, the page says so.

How often we update content

Content typeReview cadence
Company comparisons and “viva loans” guidesAt least every 3 months, and sooner when a company changes its products
Rates, terms and loan amount guidesAt least every 6 months
Legal and policy pagesAt least once a year, and when laws change

Each page shows a “last updated” date. Company products, rates and state availability change often, so always confirm details on the lender’s own site before you sign anything.

Independence from lenders

VivaLoanApp may be compensated by lenders or partners when requests are submitted or funded, as explained on our Disclosures page. That relationship does not control what we write.

  • Lenders do not write, edit, review or approve our content.
  • We do not accept payment for favorable coverage.
  • We include alternatives that do not pay us, such as credit union PALs, employer advances and nonprofit credit counseling. See Responsible Lending.
  • Our own service is presented as one option, not the only one.

When we compare VivaLoanApp with other services, we try to state where another option may suit you better, for example a lower-cost credit union loan or a lender that offers larger amounts than our $100 to $5,000 range.

Corrections process

If you spot an error, outdated fact or unclear statement, email [email protected] with the subject line “Correction Request.” Include the page link, the text in question and, if possible, a source.

We review every correction request. When we confirm an error, we fix it and update the page date. Significant corrections, such as a wrong rate or legal requirement, are noted on the page. If a company believes we have described it inaccurately, we welcome documentation and will review it promptly. You can also reach us through our Contact page or learn more about VivaLoanApp.
